A free world war game like Risk, in your browser
If you like Risk, territorial.io or DEFCON, SECOND STRIKE is a real-time world war on a 3D satellite globe of the real Earth. A war takes 15 minutes. It is free, needs no download and runs on a phone.
How a war goes
You start as a small patch of land anywhere on the planet and grow by sending troops into the land next to you. You take real cities, about 2,000 of them, sign pacts with nations run by the game or by other players, and break those pacts when it suits you. Grow too big too fast and a coalition forms against you. You build an arsenal from fleets and carriers to satellites and nukes.
Every nuclear strike moves a shared doomsday clock toward midnight, and nukes get more expensive as it ticks down. Whoever's strike takes it to midnight is wiped off the map. Most wars are decided by who dares to press the button, and when.
