Question 1

What is SECOND STRIKE?

Accepted Answer

A free world war simulator where you play god on a 3D globe of the real Earth. You do not command the armies: you are the god above them. Build a world from any year between 117 and 2100, press run and watch nations rise, split, unite and fall on their own, with leaders who speak and a Chronicle of everything that happened.

Question 2

Is SECOND STRIKE a real-time strategy game?

Accepted Answer

No. You do not command the armies: you are the god above them. The nations fight, ally and betray on their own, and you meddle: make a nation rich, start a war, send a plague or a meteor, spark a revolt, or possess a nation for a minute. It is a world war simulator and god game, in the spirit of Ages of Conflict and WorldBox, on the real Earth.

Question 3

How do I build a world?

Accepted Answer

Press BUILD A WORLD. Pick a preset or a year (Rome in 117, the Mongols in 1279, 1914, today, one possible 2100), or start from one pixel each. In the editor you can paint nations and real provinces, break a country into its provinces, raise mountains and forests, design flags, and set who starts allied or at war. Then press run.

Question 4

Is SECOND STRIKE like Ages of Conflict?

Accepted Answer

In spirit: build a world and watch it unfold. SECOND STRIKE runs free in the browser on a 3D globe of the real Earth with real borders and 4,596 provinces, era maps from 117 to 2100, leaders who talk, a paint-your-own-world editor, Describe a world in one sentence, god powers and 2,000-year timelapse videos.

Question 5

What happens in a world?

Accepted Answer

History runs on its own: wars are declared, pacts are signed and broken, empires split in civil wars, nations unite, leaders die and heirs take over, coups, plagues and droughts strike real cities, and in the future the seas rise. Headline cards mark the big moments and the Chronicle writes it all down, quoting broken promises.

Question 6

Can I paint my own world?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Press PAINT YOUR OWN WORLD and paint empires straight onto the globe: real provinces, mountains, forests, flags, who starts allied or at war. Or press DESCRIBE A WORLD and write one sentence, such as "the Roman Empire never fell", and the world is built for you. Then press run.

Question 7

What does play god mean?

Accepted Answer

Tap PLAY GOD or any nation and reach in: give it gold, start a war, spark a revolt, make peace, collapse an empire, rename it. The full version adds a volcano, a great flood, an ice age, an earthquake, a plague, a meteor, a famine, a coup, a union, a legendary conqueror and Summon empire. Every act is written into the link, so a shared world replays your hand exactly.

Question 8

Is there a daily challenge?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Daily God: one shared world for everyone each day, an underdog nation to make the biggest on Earth by 2076 with god powers only. Every win goes on the day's board, where the fewest acts of god rank highest. Share a one-line result, dare a friend with the same world, and keep a daily streak.

Question 9

Can I compete with my worlds?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every week the Atlas runs a contest on one theme, such as painting the world if Rome never fell. Tick the contest box when you publish; the most watched entry wins a crown that stays on your profile.

Question 10

Can I share and remix world files?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Save any world as a file or send it from the share box; anyone can open it, or drop it on the page, to watch it or remix it in the editor and send their version back. Every world is also a link that replays it exactly.

Question 11

Can I make a country timelapse video?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Press Timelapse in any world to render up to 2,000 years as a smooth 60-second video, vertical for TikTok and Shorts or wide for YouTube. Your first try is free.

Question 12

Can I share a world?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every world has a link that replays it exactly, a file you can save, a postcard image and a 9:16 video clip. Publish your best worlds to the Atlas, where anyone can watch them or remix them.

Question 13

Is SECOND STRIKE free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Building, painting, describing, watching, playing god with 10 powers and sharing are all free in your browser with no download. The optional full version (lifetime access, pay once: on sale for US$9.99, regular US$14.99) adds 11 more god powers, unlimited Describe a world, 2,000-year timelapse videos, eight map styles and the streamer kit.
